Who We Are

Neighbors for Neighbors began in 1998 when a couple of women saw a friend, whose son was diagnosed with cancer, struggling to deal with it both financially and emotionally. They decided to put together some fundraisers. After seeing what they were able to accomplish, they thought it would be nice to help other families as well.

Neighbors for Neighbors is associated with the Bartlett community. This is because a majority of our members reside in Bartlett and most of our events take place in town.

We are a licensed 501c3 not-for-profit organization.  We are a small group of men and women volunteers who hold fundraisers. Many of us are parents with jobs and busy lives. Each member takes on whatever responsibilities they can reasonably and realistically see through from start to finish.

What We Do

Through various fundraisers and grants awarded to our organization we offer financial assistance to families with critically ill children who reside within our community. Neighbors for Neighbors also offers support for the families dealing with these challenges. The following are some of the things that we have done and continue to do:

Events we sponsor or contribute to include Spaghetti Dinner in the Spring, Running the Bingo Tent at the Bartlett Fourth of July Festival, A Holiday Fair with vendors/crafts and bake sale, A Fall Holiday Dinner for area senior citizens, running the pie eating contest for the Police Department at the National Night Out event, Relay for Life, assisting with various blood and food drives.
